So, just letting you know I've been assigned as your monthly warden. You needing anything or...? Just hit me up, and we'll work on stuff if you want, or not. Y'know, whatever works for you.
[Admittedly, Andred doesn't sound terribly put out, nor particularly offended. Merely pointing out the possibility that not everyone might think of it that way.]
Meeting people - talking to people - is definitely hard, Andred would have to agree. Not that he hasn't tried, sort of, over the years he's been on board the Barge, but he's still not really anything he'd call good at it. (He may never be, but he's working his way towards figuring out, at least.)
"Andred."
There's a nod in return. While he's not used to people sitting across for him, this has more to do about the fact that he's frequently in the cafeteria at slightly unusual times; days like today, where he's in a 'regular' time are a rarity. Still, it hurts nothing to be polite, even if he is likely to need a moment to come up with a topic of further conversation.
Trips to the Cybernetics lab are common. There is the occasional need for tools they have there and other items he can't find anywhere else. Although any other passengers being there has become increasingly rare as of late. So it's with some measure of surprise that Connor greets someone new as he enters.
"Hello." He offers while heading to one of the workbenches. "How are you this afternoon?"
Given that - as far as he can tell - there doesn't seem to be anyone else working in the cybernetics lab, Andred has by and large taken a somewhat loose view of what the job actually entails. Which is not particularly to say that he's lazy. Far from it, for the most part. But without anyone else involved and very few people who need it (as best he can tell) it hasn't really seemed to be particularly important for anyone to be in the lab.
Needless to say then, he's just as surprised to see Connor in the lab as he seems to be to see him.
"About as well as can be expected, on the Barge. You?"
[Steve tries sending a direct message first, because it's easiest and fastest. But if there's no reply, he will do his best to hunt Andred down in person.]
Andred, do you still have your communicator? I wanted to ask you something.
[It takes a moment before Andred answers - with the network being less of a thing over the last year, he's grown a little out of the habit of keeping it one his person at all times, though it's nearby enough that he isn't worried about losing it.]
No, I lost it.
[The sarcasm he means it with may or may not come through well over text, but either way, another message comes along shortly thereafter.]

This is Martin. It's- a pleasure?

[The answer comes almost immediately, and it's only afterwards that it occurs to him that it might be a good idea to offer more as well.]

He scans the cafeteria for an empty seat, spots one across from Andred, and just seats himself abruptly there.
"Juno Steel." It's all he's getting for a greeting just now, and zero justification.
